Archived Discussions

From December 2004 until February 2010, the Institute of General Semantics sponsored message boards for the discussion of general semantics. Participants contributed their questions, answers, perspectives, and knowledge related to general semantics in a moderated environment.

We have archived these discussions and put them online as a supplement to your studies and research.

The IGS Discussion Forums

(December 2004 - September 2008)

These forums were the first foray by IGS into the message board format. The conversation was rather lively, boasting intelligent, opinionated entertainment related to general semantics and its many teachings.

The General Semantics Discussion Forums

(September 2008 - February 2010)

These forums followed on the heels of a new website design for IGS. The new forums, nicknamed "the GSDF," sported a more sophisticated message board software and new categories of discussion.
